Kristen Corwin is thrilled to be teaching at Kenilworth Community Preschool.  Kristen brings to Kenilworth her passion for constructivist, play-based early childhood education, and her love of literature, science, and all things messy.  Kristen has a Masters in the Arts of Teaching from Lewis and Clark College.  She has taught kindergarten, second, and third grades in both the Portland and Beaverton School Districts.  Kristen was the co-director and a teacher in a Reggio influenced childcare center in downtown Washington, DC.  Additionally, Kristen has been a parent, active volunteer, and board member in Portland area co-op preschools for seven years.

In her spare time Kristen can be found hiking, biking, and camping with her husband and three children.
